Bernadette Golden, LMFT
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice since
1989. My undergraduate degree is in music education with a music therapy internship.
I received both a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, and gestalt
training from Southern Connecticut State University. I am a clinical member of
the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). I am also
trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and I am a clinical
member of that professional association, EMDRIA.
I have extensive clinical experience resolving anxiety, mood disorders, grief, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD, and life transitions. My work with individuals, couples, and families takes a holistic approach to resolve these issues that can affect not only emotional well-being, but physical health and spiritual growth. My practice is centered in systems theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and gestalt work.
